Double Twisted Super 150's:

Merinos wools have three qualities that are highly appreciated by the market:
​
· Softness to the touch
· Humidity management through the recovery rate.
· Temperature control through the heat-insulating effect.
​
These three characteristics are directly related to the fineness of the fiber; the finer the fibers, the more these three characteristics are accentuated.
​
In fact, with the same weight, the fabrics are defined by a series of elements that participate in determining the degree of quality. For our products we only use fibers of a very high average fineness of 16.2 microns .

From these fibers we obtain a yarn with a metric count Nm 2/120 . This means that a kilo of wire, before being coupled, is exactly 120 kilometers long, the distance between Biella and Como.
​
The yarn is woven with a weave commonly referred to as Batavia or "Casimir" jargon. This "weave", for technical reasons explained on this page , other parameters being equal, allows for better fabrics than plain weave and twill 3.

Double Twisted means that the same 2/120 yarn is used both in the warp and in the weft, characterizing our fabrics as having a higher quality than today's benchmark for crease-resistance, regularity, fluidity, brilliance.

It is easy to think that you should look for the best quality wools to get the best possible suit, but in textiles, as we will see, every choice must be thought out very carefully. Super Number grades up to 150 S are very good quality but still tough enough to remain durable.
If you wear a suit every day, those made of wool of this quality will stand the test of time, just wear yours Super 150's Merino Extra Fun at a dinner with a client, at a party, on a date, and during daily activities.
The very high grades above 150 S are extremely fine, they are very refined jewels but much more delicate and sensitive, and after a short time you could see signs of wear and pilling on pressure and rubbing points such as knees, elbows and where the seat belt rests of your car.
